INGREDIENTS:
- 1kg anari cheese
- 4-5 sheets baklava phyllo dough
- ½ cup sugar (optional)
- ½ cup honey (according to sweet preference)
- 1 cup walnuts largely chopped (save some for decoration)
- 1 sachet whipping cream powder
- 1 cup fresh milk
- 3-4 tablespoons honey
- cinnamon
METHOD:
Spread the phyllo dough sheets apart, wrinkle them, put in oven and half-bake for five minutes (until they become golden brown). Remove from oven and break into smaller pieces. Mash the anari cheese and add the whipping cream dissolved in milk, sugar, cinnamon, honey and walnuts. In a square-shaped Pyrex pan, add half of the phyllo dough sheets and pour the anari mixture. Cover it with the rest of the sheets, add the walnuts and sprinkle with cinnamon. Add the last sweet finishing touch: 4 tablespoons of honey.
