INGREDIENTS:
- 2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup olive oil
- 1 vanilla
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons honey
For the syrup:
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 1/2 cup water
- zest from ½ lemon
METHOD
In a mixer, beat the eggs, sugar and oil. Add the flour combined with the baking powder, the vanilla, cinnamon and honey (already beaten in ¾ glass of water). Grease the pan with butter and pour the mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180ºC.
Boil all syrup ingredients in a pot for 5 minutes.
Once ready, let cool, cut in pieces and pour syrup.
